Born in Bavaria, she calls the streets of the world her home – that’s Doris Wiedemann. The people she meets on her journeys are her family.
The cheerful woman from Munich has traveled five continents on her own by motorcycle and has been where no one has gone before in the way she has done it: North Korea, China, Alaska in the depths of winter. She even drove on Pitt’s Wall of Death, the legendary wall at the Munich Oktoberfest.
The lively Bavarian is a popular guest on radio and TV stations and regularly reports on the most touching, extraordinary and adventurous moments on her tours in faraway countries in multimedia presentations.
She discovered her love of writing during her travels many years ago and has successfully published four books as an author.
In her homeland Bavaria, the economics graduate works as a PR manager for well-known regional companies and regularly writes for major newspapers and magazines as a freelance journalist.
