At home in Bavaria, at home on the streets of the world – that’s Doris Wiedemann. The people she meets on her travels are her family.
The likeable woman from Munich has traveled five continents on her own by motorcycle and has been where no one has gone before: North Korea, China, Alaska in the depths of winter. She was even on Pitt’s Wall of Death, the legendary steep wall at the Munich Oktoberfest.
The fun-loving Bavarian is a popular guest on radio and TV stations and regularly reports on the most touching, extraordinary and adventurous moments on her tours in faraway countries in multimedia presentations.
She discovered her love of writing during her travels many years ago and has successfully published four books as an author.
In her native Bavaria, the economics graduate works as a PR manager for well-known regional companies and regularly writes for major newspapers and magazines as a freelance journalist.
